Our Team

Lauren McKay, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Hi! I’m Lauren, a Montana native and Carroll College graduate who earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011. After a brief bike tour and WWOOFing adventure in New Zealand, I returned to work as an oncology nurse in Helena. I completed my Family Nurse Practitioner degree at MSU in 2015 and then went to work as an outpatient internal medicine provider serving patients around central Montana. I was fortunate to complete part of my nurse practitioner training here at TRMC and being able to return in 2021 to care for this community has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career.

Working as a small-town provider allows me to treat my patients like family and be part of a community where we all look out for each other. I feel most at home outside or in the saddle—whether that’s riding horses, helping friends work livestock, or spending time camping, skiing, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, or picking wildflowers with my girls – I love it all! My husband, Shane, and I are grateful to be here, raising our daughters, Revy and Seeley, in this close-knit community we love.

Crystal Marx, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CWCA

Hi I’m Crystal. I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 2001 and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019 after completing my Master of Science in Nursing at the University of North Dakota.

My nursing background includes six years in a hospital medical-surgical unit, followed by work in a wound care clinic, where I continue to hold wound care certification. These experiences have shaped my hands-on, compassionate approach to patient care.

My husband, Mat, and I both grew up in Belgrade and now live in Three Forks with our two sons, Sawyer and Gabe. We love spending time together—whether it’s sporting events, camping, traveling or cheering on Bobcat football.

It’s a privilege to serve the Three Forks community and to work close to home in a clinic that truly feels like family.

Malori Anderson, Practice Manager

Hi! I’m Malori, a proud Three Forks native who returned to Montana after attending Seattle University. I’ve been with Three Rivers Medical Clinic since 2016—first as a Patient Care Coordinator for five years, and now as Practice Manager since 2021. I discovered my passion for healthcare while caring for patients in my hometown, and it’s truly an honor to use my deep connection with this community to help serve our patients every day. When I’m not at the clinic, I’m usually watching my boys play sports, with football being our favorite season. You’ll also find me outside with my two boys, exploring nature, fishing, and catching frogs, snakes, and just about any other creature we come across. Our most memorable find so far? A two-inch Giant Water Beetle—also known as a “toe-biter”—that my son Brantley rescued right in our clinic parking lot!

Emma Borrmann, Medical Assistant

Hi, I’m Emma. I’m new to the Three Forks area, though I’ve called the Bozeman area home for most of my life. My favorite part of working at the clinic is connecting with our amazing community members and assisting our providers with procedures. Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find me fishing, barrel racing, or enjoying all that the Montana outdoors.

Andrea Illig-Jones, Medical Assistant

Hi, I`m Andrea, and I am a Montana native who enjoys spending my summers fishing with my husband. I have always enjoyed hands-on patient care and particularly love performing phlebotomy; my work at TRMC allows me to put that skill and passion into practice! That sounds like more than a cough… Maybe you should have some bloodwork?

Halee Leum, Medical Assistant

Hi, I’m Halee, a proud Montana native. I grew up in Churchill, MT and moved to Three Forks in 2019, where it immediately felt like home. My husband and I built our house and lived in a camper for a year while it was being built — an experience we’ll never forget. We now live in our home with our two-year-old daughter and are excited to be welcoming another baby soon. I began working as a medical assistant in 2019 and feel grateful to work close to home while connecting with the amazing Three Forks community. Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find me camping and boating at Canyon Ferry Lake or exploring the mountains with our side-by-side.
